Our uniform transition is now over. Our official and only uniform provider is Lands' End. Any green / navy purchases through Flynn O'Hara may still be worn. No teal / black uniform pieces are allowed.
Purchases from Lands' End can be made at

Uniform Event
Join us on Monday, June 9 from 5 - 7 pm in Nelson Hall (please enter through the back double doors) for our Uniform Event. We'll have 3 uniform-related options:
1) Uniform Try On
Our Lands' End Uniform (regular & PE) will be available for you to try on for sizing. These items will not be for purchase at the school, but for figuring out sizing for you to purchase online.
2) Green Polos & Navy Pullovers for Sale
We have a very limited number / adult sizes of the green rapid-dry polos and navy blue pullovers available for sale. Pricing is as follows:Adult Size Short Sleeve Polos: $35Adult Size Long Sleeve Polos: $38Adult Size Pullovers: $42
Credit card only. No cash.
3) Used Uniform Stock for Free
Our entire stock of used uniform skirts, jumpers, blue pants and shorts will be out and available for free. We can also accept donations of used uniforms at this event. Black / Teal items will be taken for recycling purposes only as they can no longer be worn.Please email Mrs. Kime at

Please attend the Spirit Night at Blaze Pizza on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 anytime between 3:00 pm and 8:30 pm and show your school spirit. Blaze Pizza is located at the Bowie Town Center, 15431 Excelsior Drive, Bowie, MD 20716. Blaze Pizza will donate 20% of the proceeds back to our school.
Parents have two ways to support this spirit night:
1)bring the attached flyer or show it on your phone before paying when you arrive at the restaurant OR

A Spirit Day to support St. Pius X School will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Bowie Raising Cane's Chicken location from 12 noon to 4:30 pm. The Bowie Raising Cane's is located at 16401 Heritage Boulevard, Bowie, MD 20716 (behind Lowe's Hardware); the phone number is 301-296-7035. Please mention that you are from St. Pius X Regional School when you visit the restaurant.

Raising Cane's will donate 15 percent of net sales to Saint Pius School. Please attend this event to support our wonderful school community!
Get ready to tropic like it's hot at Purse Bingo! Please join us at St. Pius X on Friday, June 6, 2025 for a night of shell-ebrations. Bring your high tides and good vibes to Nelson Hall. Doors open at 6:00 pm and bingo begins at 7:00 pm. There are only 200 spots available. Please pre-purchase your spot today to ensure entry into the event.
Admission is $25. Each admission includes one multi-game card and one raffle ticket. Additional cards and bingo daubers can be purchased at the event.
BYO food, wine, or spirits. This is an event for adults 18 years and older. Beach vibes only; no crabby attitudes!

Volunteer:
Art teacher Amy Santis organized the "Art for Comic Exchange" program in partnership with Third Eye Blind Comics, 209 Chinquapin Round Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. St. Pius X students (including graduating eighth graders!) are invited to stop by the comic shop, show the manager artwork from class, and receive a free comic and sticker. No student artwork will be displayed or left behind.
Students may stop by from May 27th through June 15 anytime between 11 am and 9 pm to collect their comic book and sticker.
Note to PK-7th grade students: Please visit Third Eye Blind Comics AFTER you finish your current art project in Art class.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) sponsors awards for students in grades 6, 7, and 8 and licensed/certified teachers:
1)Youth Scholarship for students in grades 6, 7, and 8 (Patriot's Pen youth scholarship) and
2)National Citizenship Education Teacher of the Year Award.
Forms and additional information are attached below.
The 2025-2026 theme for the Patriot's Pen Youth Scholarship is: "How are you showing patriotism and support for our country?" The VFW also recognizes America's best certified/licensed educators (grades K-12) who instill a sense of national pride, civic responsibility, and patriotism in students.
All entries must be received by the local VFW Post by midnight, October 31, 2025. This information is being provided to SPX students now so that interested students are aware of the program and can prepare applications and essays over the summer. PARENT/GUARDIAN WORKSHOPS--YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH/ANXIETY
The Archdiocese of Washington Catholic Schools Office is hosting parent/guardian workshops at three different Catholic school locations in Prince George's County. The youth mental health and anxiety programs are designed to support your children's mental and emotional well-being. The workshops are provided at no cost to parents of students in Prince George's County Archdiocese of Washington Catholic Schools.
The programs will be led by Jonathan Dalton, PhD, a licensed psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment of anxiety and related disorders. Dr. Dalton is the founder and director of the Center for Anxiety and Behavioral Change in Rockville, Maryland.

THE PRE-K SUMMER PROGRAM HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT. PK STUDENTS MAY ENROLL IN THE THREE-WEEK SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM.
St. Pius is offering one (1) summer camp program this year for our registered/enrolled students. The summer camp for grades PK-8 will be offered from July 7 - 25, 2025.
