Applications for NEW PK-3, NEW PK-4, and NEW Kindergarten students for '25-'26 SY are open
An update to all currently enrolled families at St. Pius X Regional School:
Applications for NEW PreK3, NEW PreK4 and NEW Kindergarten students opened on Thursday, November 7, 2024. The application can be found on the St. Pius website under the tab "Admissions". All applications will be entered electronically through the TADS Admission Services.
If your child is already in the PreK program, you will reenroll them in January 2025. Please do not fill out a new application.
The age requirement for Pre-K 3 is 3 by September 1, 2025 (Born before 9/1/2022)
The age requirement for Pre-K 4 is 4 by September 1, 2025 (Born before 9/1/2021)
The age requirement for Kindergarten is 5 by September 1, 2025 (Born before
9/1/2020)
2025-2026 Archdiocese of Washington Tuition Assistance Program:
The application window for ADW tuition assistance is now open. The deadline for Elementary School tuition assistance is Friday, February 21, 2025. This is for students in Pre-K-8th grade.

Join us for a jolly time on December 13, 2024, for a night of fun and reindeer games. This merry event will be held in-person at Nelson Hall, located on the campus of St. Pius X Regional School at 14710 Annapolis Road in Bowie, MD.
DOORS OPEN AT 6:00 PM and BINGO BEGINS AT 7:00 PMThere are only 200 spots available! Pre-purchase your spot today to ensure entry into the event.
Admission is $25. Each admission includes one multi-game card. Additional cards and Bingo daubers can be purchased at the event. BYO food, wine or spirits.
Please note this is an event for adults 18 years and older. Also, no Scrooges allowed!

Pack 730: Christmas Card Collection for our Troops
Our Cub Scout Pack 730 is looking to spread a little holiday cheer to our deployed Troops overseas this year by making and sending Christmas Cards through the USASOA. In an effort to reach as many service members as possible, we invite all students to join us in making Christmas Cards. Please no glitter or loose items on the cards and no sealed envelopes. All Christmas Cards can be dropped off in the decorated box in the front office. In order to ensure they arrive by Christmas please drop off all cards by Monday, December 2nd. Now that the temperatures have consistently turned colder, please be reminded to send your child (children) to school each day with appropriate outerwear (winter coat, hat, scarf, gloves as needed for the temperature that day, etc.). All uniform pieces and winter clothing should be legibly marked with the name of your child.
If your child loses a piece of uniform or winter clothing, lost and found bins are located in the middle school wing and third and fourth grade hallway. Parents may search through the lost and found bins after regular dismissal.

Please attend the Spirit Night at Blaze Pizza on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 anytime between 3 pm and 8:30 pm and show your school spirit. Blaze Pizza is located at the Bowie Town Center, 15431 Excelsior Drive, Bowie, MD 20716. Blaze Pizza will donate 20% of the proceeds back to our school. As per tradition at St. Pius X Regional School, we will once again collect toys for Toys for Tots. We are asking each family to send in one (or more) brand new unwrapped toy(s). The toys will be collected by officers from our County Police department. We will begin collecting toys on Monday, November 11, 2024 through Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Please help support this very important and meaningful cause.
Please be reminded that parents are not permitted to record or take pictures of St. Pius X students, parents, or faculty without their permission.
GRANDPARENTS AND SPECIAL GUESTS DAY
St. Pius X Annual Grandparents and Special Guests Day will be held on Friday, November 22nd for all 3rd graders. This is a large event and a wonderful tradition at SPX. To ensure that students and their special guests have a great time, we ask that you please consider donating from our list of needed items for this event.
This is an event where donated items count towards your VSP hours, so this is a great opportunity to get those hours in!
