GRANDPARENTS AND SPECIAL GUESTS DAY
St. Pius X Annual Grandparents and Special Guests Day will be held on Friday, November 22nd for all 3rd graders. This is a large event and a wonderful tradition at SPX. To ensure that students and their special guests have a great time, we ask that you please consider donating from our list of needed items for this event.
This is an event where donated items count towards your VSP hours, so this is a great opportunity to get those hours in!
We appreciate your generosity and thank you in advance for your support! If there are any questions or concerns, please reach out to Katie Summers at
katie.mason.summers@gmail.com.
Here are a couple of things to keep an eye out for at the school from the Green Team:
-We hope you enjoy our Green Kindness Garden as it blossoms and grows through the seasons each time you enter the school's lobby. Take some time to pay extra attention to the Kindness rocks that the Kindness club added to the garden!
-Check out The Green Team bulletin board across from the library for information about the green team and Green events that are going on.
-Start gathering your old/not working Christmas lights and bring them into the school so the Green team can take them to get recycled! The bin will be in the front lobby near Ms. Gillespie's office.
Below are some Green events happening in our community this weekend!

SANTA NEEDS YOUR HELP!
***CHRISTMAS BAZAAR UPDATE***
Our annual Christmas Bazaar is almost upon us. This year, the Bazaar will be held on December 9 and 10, in Father Nelson Hall. This very special event provides our children with the opportunity to do their holiday shopping for their families. More details to come.
In the meantime, to prepare for this wonderful event, several of Santa’s Shops need additional helpers. These helpers or chairs are responsible for procuring inventory for their shop, setting up their shop for each day of the Bazaar and selling on the Bazaar days. Chairs must be VIRTUS certified since the bazaar takes place during school hours.
We are looking for additional chairs for the following shops:
Bethlehem Boutique (Religious Table)
Thank you,
Kate, Megan, Rachel, Kandyce and Tiara
