ANNUAL PASTORAL RECOMMENDATION
Every year St. Pius X Regional School must receive an updated pastoral recommendation from your Church for you to receive the Catholic Tuition Rate. It is your responsibility to obtain the pastoral recommendation and supply it to the school. This form MUST be received by May 15, 2024 in order to receive the Catholic Rate. If the Pastoral Agreement is received after tuition agreement is signed your Catholic Rate will not begin until the month we receive it. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED FOR PREVIOUSLY PAID MONTHS AT THE NON CATHOLIC RATE.
*If you are a member of one of the four regional parishes (St. Pius, Sacred Heart, St. Edwards or Ascension) the School office will reach out to the Church office to confirm the families have qualified for a Pastoral Recommendation for the 2024-2025 School Year if you have provided one to us previously.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
St. Pius X Regional School follows the decision of Prince George County Public School when referring to weather related closures and delays.
PARKING CONCERNS
Parents, when coming to the school during any time other then arrival and dismissal that requires you to park and exit your vehicle you must park in one of the parking spaces. It is not permitted to pull up along the curb, which is a designated emergency service lane. If you park along the curb you will be instructed to move your vehicle to a parking space before the school can assist you.
NEW TARDY POLICY

This fee will be charged through TADS."
We are so excited to announce a new partnership with one of our very own families.
The Scott family (parents of SPX students) have recently obtained an amazing new restaurant BLAZE Pizza located in the Bowie Town Center. This is in addition to their other restaurant Charley's Cheesesteaks, also located at the Bowie Town Center.
Blaze Pizza has graciously allowed us to have an SPX Spirit Day with them. It will be Tuesday, February 13th, 2024. The event will run from 3:30-8 pm. Please be on the lookout for a flyer which will be coming home with more details. PLEASE help spread the word!

Before you visit the Book Fair, be sure to download the Book Fairs app to help you find the right books for your child. For more information, visit:
www.scholastic.com/apps/bookfairs. And if you are unable to attend the Fair in person, we invite you to visit our online Book Fair at
http://www.scholastic.com/bf/stpius . Our online Fair is available from February 25th – March 9th.
Track it Forward is the online system that our school uses to track our VSP (Volunteer Support Program) hours. A reminder that every family is required to participate. Dual parent homes are required to complete 20 hours, single parent families 10 hours. Uncompleted hours will be charged at the rate of $25 per hours.
Hours must be logged within 30 days of the event or they will not be approved. Parents are required to input their own hours which are then sent to the head of that activity to approve.
